Should a man really bear the full burden of paying the bills in a relationship? Today, I'm shaking the table with a hot take that challenges this traditional notion. We're getting real about financial responsibility and compatibility, and why each person should be able to sustain their own lifestyle. It's about stripping away the expectations and fostering a partnership where both parties are equal contributors, whether it's rent, mortgages, or personal care expenses. By drawing inspiration from Genesis 2:18, we're discussing the significance of finding a helpmate who matches your own responsibility level to shape a thriving union.

This episode is a bold call to action for anyone playing the dating game or striving for a balanced relationship. It's a candid conversation around the importance of letting go of partners who display early signs of financial dependency - a move that ultimately empowers both individuals. We're envisioning a world where power couples are the norm, built on the sacred trait of responsibility. If you're ready to create a bond where both of you are proactive contributors, eager to build an empire together, this is the listen for you. Tune in for insights that aim to empower and elevate your partnership to the next level.

Speaker 2:

A man should not be paying bills. If a person shows signs within the first five months of dating they are incapable of covering their own lifestyle, which include rent, mortgage, basic bills and personal care. Let that person go to cultivate into a responsible adult who can one day become a helpmate to another human being. Genesis two, verse one. And the Lord God said it is not good that man should be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him. Did you hear that? He said I will make him a helper comparable to him, a person of equal balance, of equivalent quality, worthy of comparison and close and likeness. The lifestyle of both parties should contain similarities. Both parties should then combine their attributes to form a power couple.

Speaker 2:

A man does not seek a burden. A man seeks a helpmate. A helpmate helps to build an empire, not empty the resources of their counterpart. A man disperses his resources to a partner with the sacred trait of responsibility. A responsible person is powerful. They can manage the day to day operations of a growing empire, even if that empire is a household. A good helpmate is proactive in identifying and addressing problems, not becoming a problem or a burden within the first five months of courtship. If a person shows signs within the first five months of dating. They are incapable of covering their own lifestyle to include rent, mortgage, basic bills and personal care. Let that person go to cultivate and to a responsible adult who can one day become a helpmate to another human being.
